Filmmaker Friday - Williamsburg - Brooklyn, New York
There’s really no better way to start of the year than by surrounding yourself with a group of people from all walks of life. People that are carrying past stories of successes and struggles, vocalizing challenges of the present times, and sharing the desires for the times ahead. Hearing firsthand the unique stories of each person, while also recognizing the shared experiences that come from being part of the wide-reaching world of media, film, and the creative arts, creates an atmosphere that feels both familiar and new. Hearing shared stories within pockets of people gathering, perspectives of both native New Yorkers as well as people that moved here, all pursuing their endeavors here in this big city. The results? An evening of encouragement, inspiration, motivation, humbled realizations of everything happening within this city. Thank you NYC Filmmaker Hangout and its attendees and for making a space for industry individuals to bring to life new connections, connections of future collaborations, creative efforts and stronger bonds. To everyone carrying out the New York mentality of helping out one another when possible, all while pursing the unique path ahead of each individual, cheers to future intertwining roads along the creative journey of 2025.
