New York City, famously known as “The city that never sleeps”. A city filled with opportunity, dreams, talent and so much more that I will not be able to fit in this small paragraph. Around every corner is something for everyone. I had the privilege of meeting and photographing a fusion-jazz band that goes by the name of Moon Sugar here at Club Bonafide located on the upper east side of Manhattan. My experience and knowledge with music is at a very basic level, purely for leisure and entertainment. The band members are a very talented bunch that come off as very relaxed. Though being relaxed, their sound will surely will take you on rollercoaster of journey. If I could sum up my experience, Moon Sugar was a great and exciting time. With such a unique sound, Moon Sugar’s style will keep you on your toes and have you anticipating each measure as well as each solo. If you’re into the world of jazz and you want to hear something funky, something fresh, something new, feel free to check out Moon Sugar, you won’t be disappointed!
